【摘要】:Rubberandrubberproductsforcertainapplicationsmustwithstandtheenvironmentaleffectofhighhumidityandresistthedeteriorationofphysicalpropertiesundertheseconditionswithtime.Thistestmethodallowsperformancepropertiestobedeterminedundertheacceleratedconditionsofhighhumidityandelevatedtemperature.Inviewofclimaticvariationsinserviceconditions,thismethodmaynotgiveresultscorrelatingexactlywithserviceperformance.However,thetestmethodyieldscomparativedataonwhichtobasejudgmentastoservicequalityanditisusefulinresearchanddevelopmentwork.Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletocoatedfabrics;itsuseformaterialsotherthanrubberhasnotbeenestablished.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheabilityofrubbertowithstandtheenvironmentaleffectsofhighhumidity.Thisisaccomplishedbyexaminationofthematerialafterremovalfromthemoisture-ladenenvironment.ItisdesignedfortestingspecimensofrubbermaterialscutfromstandardsheetspreparedinaccordancewithPracticeD3182.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeNote1.)
