【摘要】:Thisspecificationisintendedtobeameansofcallingoutplasticproductusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsforthematerial,dimensions,andworkmanship,andthepropertiesofextruded-andcompression-moldedrod,andheavy-walledtubemanufacturedfromgranularunfilledPTFEresininaccordancewithSpecificationD4894.Thisspecificationcoversrodandheavy-walledtubingmadewhollyfrompolytetrafluoroethyleneandproducedinaccordancewithgoodcommercialpractice.Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredforthecompositionscovered.RequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplicationsaredescribedbyusingtheclassificationsystemgiveninSection.ThisspecificationallowsfortheuseofrecycledplasticsasdefinedinGuideD5033.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandardinallpropertyanddimensionaltables.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1AlthoughthisspecificationandISO13000-1andISO13000-2differinapproachordetail,dataobtainedusingeitheraretechnicallyequivalent.
