【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulfordetermininglowlevelsofacidity,below0.05%,inorganiccompoundsandhydrocarbonmixtures.Thetotalacidityiscalculatedasaceticacidormilligramsofsodiumhydroxidepergramofsample.Aciditymaybepresentasaresultofcontamination,decompositionduringstorageordistribution,ormanufacture.Thistestmethodmaybeusedinassessingcompliancewithaspecification.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotalacidityasaceticacid,inconcentrationsbelow0.05%,inorganiccompoundsandhydrocarbonmixturesusedinpaint,varnish,andlacquersolventsanddiluents.Itisknowntobeapplicabletosuchmixturesaslowmolecularweightsaturatedandunsaturatedalcohols,ketones,ethers,esters,hydrocarbondiluents,naphtha,andotherlightdistillatepetroleumfractions.1.2Forpurposesofdeterminingconformanceofanobservedvalueoracalculatedvalueusingthistestmethodtorelevantspecifications,testresult(s)shallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Forspecifichazardinformationandguidanceconsultsupplier''sMaterialSafetyDataSheet.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhoeverusesthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
