【摘要】:1.1ThisStandardcoversplumbingfixturesmadeofstainlesssteelalloysandspecifiesrequirementsformaterials,construction,performance,testing,andmarkings.Note:Theterm“corrosion-resistingsteel”isalsoappliedtostainlesssteel.1.2ThisStandardcoversthefollowingplumbingfixtures:(a)bathtubs;(b)bidets;(c)drinkingfountainsandwatercoolers;(d)lavatories;(e)showerbases;(f)urinals;and(g)sinks:(i)kitchenandbarsinks;(ii)laboratorysinks;(iii)laundrysinks;(iv)servicesinks;and(v)utilitysinks.1.3InthisStandard,“shall”isusedtoexpressarequirement,i.e.,aprovisionthattheuserisobligedtosatisfyinordertocomplywiththestandard;“should”isusedtoexpressarecommendationorthatwhichisadvisedbutnotrequired;“may”isusedtoexpressanoptionorthatwhichispermissiblewithinthelimitsofthestandard;and“can”isusedtoexpresspossibilityorcapability.Notesaccompanyingclausesdonotincluderequirementsoralternativerequirements;thepurposeofanoteaccompanyingaclauseistoseparatefromthetextexplanatoryorinformativematerial.Notestotablesandfiguresareconsideredpartofthetableorfigureandmaybewrittenasrequirements.Annexesaredesignatednormative(mandatory)orinformative(non-mandatory)todefinetheirapplication.1.4SIunitsaretheunitsofrecordinCanada.InthisStandard,theyard/poundunitsareshowninparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachmeasurementsystemareequivalentinapplication;however,eachsystemistobeusedindependently.Combiningvaluesfromthetwomeasurementsystemscanresultinnon-conformancewiththisStandard.AllreferencestogallonsaretoU.S.gallons.ForinformationontheunitconversioncriteriausedinthisStandard,seeAnnexA.
